Hudson Crossing Park

Parking Lot/Meeting Location: County Road 42, Schuylerville, NY 12871

Hudson Crossing Park is home to over two miles of beautifully cared for trails, including a Sensory Trail along the Hudson River as well as trails overlooking historic Champlain Canal Lock 5. The primary trail we follow is their Riverwalk Sensory Trail. This is a wide, flat accessible trail that mostly has a hard-pack gravel surface. This trail has the added benefits of informative signage and Hudson River overlooks. Another trail we’ve explored is the Hudson River Trail, which extends beyond the Sensory Trail and is more rugged. The dirt path has several spurs down to the water.
