Lake George Elementary School Nature Trails

Parking/Meeting Location: 69 Sun Valley Dr, Lake George NY

The Lake George Elementary School has about 2 miles of trails through a wooded area behind the school that are open to the public for hiking, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, and snowshoeing. The trails are wide and are pretty level for walking on, though there are a couple of hills for some challenge. Overall these are easy/moderate and with three loops the hike can be adjusted for length.

BONUS: the trails are right next to the school’s playground and athletic fields; the soccer field area is excellent for sledding in winter!
