Rush Pond Trail is a 2.2-mile long pathway through the heart of the Rush Pond wetlands. The trail is wide and flat with gentle slopes, and features three hand constructed “twiggy” bridges and opportunities to get close to the wetlands and explore for wildlife. The largest bridge is located on the south end of the trail and offers the best views of the wetlands to the north and stream life. We prefer to start from the south entrance because of this bridge and interest along the trail (the north entrance includes a long entrance passing a residential area before getting to the more secluded part of the trail system).
